ClaudeCode the Best Agent

Problem Statement: In order to chart my journey at the FractalTech bootcamp and to ensure that I continuously reflect on progress and lessons learned. I wanted to develop a page where I can post blogs and ensure that I capture the application of my skills i project format.

Solution: To ensure that the above problem statement was solved, it was clear what the functional need of the website was. However, I then wanted to ensure that UX principles were adhered to, and this included designing a minimalistic website with a brand authentic to who I am. I went down the route of several shot prompting and building features out bit by bit as the initial megaprompt did not get the best out of Claude.

Process:

My initial prompt to Claude was "I am planning to build a website which will be used to house blog posts, projects and showcase my personality and edge that I bring. I plan to do several shot prompts with you to build a good website that follows best practice. As a starting point, please can you provide a five step process so that I can get the best out of you.". Prior to this I also had researched the styles and website design that resonated with me.
Claude responded with questions that I then provided the right amount of detail behind to ensure that the website met my expectations. This included getting the branding and logo made upfront. This also included agreeing on the tech stack to be used for the web page.
Once the initial skeleton of the website was defined and available for review, I then began to detail out each section of the skeleton to ensure that the functional flow, aesthetics and features aligned with my expectations.
I asked cursor for an independent review of the code and updated based on some of the recommendations that I liked the look of.This also allowed me to look at the code in detail, and make some minor changes to suit my style.
I then asked Claude for any enhancements that it would recommend as well as refining some minor improvements based on my experience of using the blog.
Final step was to agree on a deployment strategy.

Next Steps: The app is now deployed, and I aim to continuously refine and improve the website as well as post one blog per day on a topic that interests me.
