Why AI?

GeneralCareerAI

My motivation to become an engineer has always been simple: to have a deeply positive impact on as many people as possible.

That’s why I’m leaning hard into the application of Generative AI (GenAI).

Despite the amount of hype surrounding it, GenAI will not be a fad, it is the only truly general-purpose (think electrification, personal computing and steam power etc.) breakthrough where nearly everyone already has access to the infrastructure required to run the tech. And it is already touching every part of society, where the depth of its potential is extraordinary: we’re seeing 90–95% reductions in task times across real use cases. GenAI is not just about marginal efficiency gains but a chance to leapfrog well ahead of the current landscape.

I’ve challenged myself to double down on GenAI, learning the core concepts behind GenAI and translating them into practical, demystified insights with an eye on the latest trends.
